The Roda Polo Story
The Roda Polo story started in 2019 with former Argentine polo player Javier Tanoira having the idea to divise a sport similar to polo, in which horses could be replaced by a mechanical equivalent.

Unexpectedly, it turned out that the future of the “electric polo game” might already be here.
Having spotted kids of professional polo players in Argentina simply riding their eWheels on the polo field and enjoying tapping the ball — Javier thought they might be on to something. After giving it a go himself, he became instantly hooked.

Javier was keen to promote the new sport to the UK and mentioned his idea to his friend, and former England Polo Team Captain, Henry Brett, who decided to expand Roda Polo to the UK.
Henry Brett
Henry has played for and captained the England polo team and has won every major tournament in England and many more around the world.
He has reached a handicap of 8 and is one of only four English players to have reached this level since the Second World War. Henry currently has a handicap of 7 in Argentina.

Experienced in the teaching of polo to groups and individuals from all walks of life, Henry is passionate about Roda Polo and is excited to launch this new sport across the UK.
